Johanna Calabria is a well-rounded litigator who practices law with the utmost sense of practicality, sensibility and integrity.
Johanna began her law practice at Rogers & Wells LLP (which later merged with Clifford Chance) in New York and later in San Francisco. Johanna continued her practice with the law firms of Cooley Godward LLP and Perkins Coie LLP in San Francisco. Prior to joining Durie Tangri as managing counsel, Johanna founded Calabria Law Group, where she represented a broad array of clients including venture capital firms, start-up companies, non-profit organizations and individuals in a variety of litigation matters.
Johanna successfully has defended clients across a variety of industries in complex commercial litigation matters. Johanna also has litigated intellectual property cases involving allegations of trademark infringement, copyright infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets. Johanna has substantial experience throughout all phases of litigation, including pretrial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, jury trials and settlements.
Johanna is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to practice law in California and New York. In addition to law, Johanna practices yoga, and enjoys cycling throughout the Bay Area and surfing in warm water.
